Immune Support

Individuals who exercise regularly usually have more resistance to health challenges. However, this phenomenon is reversed if the athlete is exercising too much. Part of the "over-training syndrome" is a clear drop in immune function.
This has been the focus of research for a number of years now. What has been demonstrated is that: a) glutathione is rapidly used up during vigorous exercise; b) when glutathione levels drop below a critical threshold, immune function drops as well; and c) well-trained athletes are more resistant to disease if their glutathione levels are higher. You are invited to see some of the original research supporting this phenomenon.
Immunocal has been researched in the most immune compromised patients including AIDS and cancer. More recently, it has been undertaken clinical trials examining many parameters of athletic performance.
